Israel Gets “Easy” Draw For Euro 2012

Ever since the final whistle blew in Israel’s last World Cup Qualifier against Switzerland all eyes have been turned towards the draw for Euro 2012. Many fans of the National Team including myself were rueing the missed opportunity of not making the World Cup from a relatively easy qualifying group. However this draw certainly turned out quite favorably for Israel, as they managed to miss all the traditional powerhouses of England, Germany, France, Italy and Spain but, instead got to see the familiar faces of Croatia, Latvia, and Greece. Without doubt, this is a perfect chance for the National Team to redeem itself and show the many doubters that they can indeed play at the highest level of football and triumph after its underwhelming performance in the previous World Cup campaign. Any success will depend on the appointment of a new coach who will take on the tremendous pressure of taking Israel to the proverbial promised land.

The Draw

1. Croatia, 2. Greece, 3. Israel, 4. Latvia, 5. Georgia, 6. Malta

Can you write a post about who the leading candidates for the Israel national team manager are?
