Nes Zamir Draws Interest, Tamir Cohen Is Out

Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, and Maccabi Netanya have shown in interest in the Albacete youth player Nes Zamir.  Zamir currently plays with Albacete’s B team and was recently called up to Israel’s U-21 team in a friendly against Romania. Zamir is twenty years old and formerly played at Getafe’s and Maccabi Tel-Aviv’s  youth teams and he is a central midfielder. Netanya’s manager, Reuven Atar will go to Spain in order to check out the young midfielder, as well as a few other players.

Tamir Cohen is out for Israel’s May friendlies against Uruguay and Chile. The Bolton midfielder has been in pain for several months and recently had tests done that shows he needs surgery, Cohen expects to be out a month before returning to practice. Cohen who is a midfielder for Bolton Wanderers has featured on and off for the National Team and played a half recently against Romania.
