  • Hapoel Haifa has signed the leading scorer from Liga Leumit, Akaki Mikuchadze from Bat Yam. He scored twenty goals this season.
  • Hapoel Tel-Aviv wants their former player Salim Toama. Toama currently plays his football for AEL Larissa in Greece.
  • Pini Balili has been released from his club, Antalyaspor.
  • Vladimir Dvalishvili of Maccabi Haifa is wanted by the Turkish club Trabzonspor which finished 7th in the Turkish league last year.

    Toama would be a nice addition with Hapoel going to through Champions League qualifiers. He would add veteran leadership at a time when they will need it.

    Balili looks to be finished. He went scoreless last season and a striker that can’t score is basically worthless on the pitch. He will probably go back to Israel but I don’t see him starting for one of the big clubs.

    Haifa have Dvalishvili for one more year. Which means if they sell him they won’t get that much for him. If he really wants to go to Trabzonspor then Haifa don’t have a choice. The only option is to give him an extension with a pay raise.

      Highly unlikely, I think he wants to be in a bigger league.
