Barak Itzhaki Transfers To Maccabi Tel-Aviv

The long awaited transfer of the season has been completed. Barak Itzhaki will be on his way to Maccabi Tel-Aviv after Hapoel Tel-Aviv thought they had agreed with Beitar on terms. Mitch Goldhar will pay Two Million USD for the striker and he will earn 550,000 USD per season making him the highest paid player in Israel. Itzhaki is the third striker that Maccabi has bought this transfer season and the fifth player overall. I have stated my opinion before on the idea of Itzhaki transferring to Maccabi Tel-Aviv and I think it’s bad for the club and the player. However I could be wrong and I wish Maccabi and Barak the best of success. So far Maccabi has spent at least 3.2 million dollars on players, although the number is higher I’m not exactly sure what it is.

With all the money being spent, it puts a lot of pressure on the Maccabi manager to fight for the championship.
