    I’m a little confused about Beitar and Alvarez…. why don’t Beitar just release him? I see this done all the time.

    Where do you think Ben Sahar will end up?

    Because Alvarez is making 300,000 Euros a year on the contract and doesn’t want to give that up. So far no team has offered to buy the player. Therefore Beitar are contractually obligated to make sure he gets paid.

    I’m not sure about Sahar, I’ve said before that I think going back to Hapoel for a season would be a great move for him and really help his confidence, but I don’t know whats going to happen.

    Why is it that Alvarez refused to take a medical? Is it because of an injury or maybe he might test positive for drugs.
