Bnei Yehuda – FC Ulisses 0-0

Bnei Yehuda was only able to come away with a draw against Armenian club FC Ulisses in a sloppy back and forth game.  FC Ulisses had several opportunities to score but were denied superbly by Nigeria goalkeeper Dele Aiyenugba. Bnei Yehuda also had their opportunities to score and missed a couple of close headers on goal, and had a shot hit the crossbar from long distance. New boy Shalev Menashe had a poor outing for Bnei Yehuda and was subsequently substituted for Assi Baldut.  Bnei Yehuda should be able to use the home field advantage and beat the tough Armenians at home and advance to face Irish side Shamrock Rovers.

Meanwhile Hapoel Tel-Aviv won their practice game today against Russian side Amkar Perm 2-0.  Yesterday, Maccabi Haifa lost their game yesterday to Lokomotiv Moscow 2-1. Here are highlights from yesterday’s game.

From the result, they don’t seem like the Bnei Yehuda from last season. But I did notice that a few of their players didn’t play like Balili, Garrido, and Galvan.
