A List of Players From the Former Yugoslavia Currently Playing in Israel’s Premier League

In Israel, teams are limited to five foreign players per team. Currently there are 16 teams in the Israeli Premier League, or Ligat Ha’al.  That means there are 80 slots for foreign players in the Israeli league.Twelve out of sixteen teams currently have at least one player originating from countries that composed the former Yugoslavia.  There are a total of 27 players from those countries. That is roughly 33% of all foreign players in Israel.  I broke down the stats for you below.
