Yuval Naim Resigns From Beitar Jerusalem
Beitar Jerusalem is without a manager after Yuval Naim resigned from the position. Beitar had lost its last two games to Bnei Sakhnin and Bnei Lod. Naim denies that he was pushed out or was fired. Instead, he says he couldn’t deal with the pressure. Beitar is apparently moving quickly to fill the position, as they are in negotiations with former Maccabi Tel Aviv and Israel U-21 coach Motti Ivanir. Ivanir was recommended by former Beitar player Barak Itzhaki after working with him at Maccabi.
Speaking of resignations, Fabio Capello has resigned as England’s head manager, which is probably the most pressure filled managment job in the world. You can read about it here. Capello has resigned over John Terry being stripped of his captain’s armband by the English FA. I personally think the Terry incident is an excuse for Capello to resign, who probably feared a poor showing by England at Euro 2012. Let me know what your opinion is.
