Gai Assulin On Loan To Brighton?

According to the Israeli website News1, Gai Assulin may go on loan to the  Championship side, Brighton. Assulin, who had been injured for the last 3 months, is eager to see first team action after only playing for the reserves in Manchester City during his spell there.  In his return to the reserve side on February 9th, he played 45 minutes in a match against Manchester United’s reserves. He had a goal and two assists in an impressive return. Assulin who has been compared to Messi in the past, has yet to live up to that expectation, but I certainly believe his skill and ability are comparable to Juan Mata or David Silva. I think if he is given the opportunity for first team action he can definitely showcase his skills, and Brighton would be good place for him to do it. Israel’s National Team is short of quality players, and his development is crucial if Israel is to be successful in the future. See Assulin in action against Manchester United’s Reserves below.
