Itay Shechter, Maor Buzaglo, and Beram Kayal (Biram Kiyal) will all be unavailable to play against the Ukraine on February 29th due to injury. Beitar Jerusalem Chairman Itzik Kornfein may resign if he feels his position as Chairman of Beitar is being undermined by Arkady Gaydamak’s advisor Gal Yosef. Kornfein reportedly discussed compensation with Gaydamak this weekend. However he denies that he is leaving for the foreseeable future.

Israel’s Ligat Ha’al was in action this weekend, with one game remaining for Monday, which will feature Beitar Jerusalem and Maccabi Tel Aviv. Here are the scores from this weekend.

Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Tel Aviv both struggled, as all they could get were 0-0 draw’s. Walid Badir was controversially sent off in Hapoel Tel-Aviv’s match.
