Hapoel Tel Aviv Severely Punished

After Hapoel Tel Aviv’s shameful a display against Maccabi Tel Aviv in last weekend’s derby match,  a list of severe punishments have been placed on the club by the IFA’s chief court in wake of the misbehavior of the players and it’s fans.  The club will be docked 3 points, dropping them into fourth place. Avihai Yadin has been handed a 12 match ban, and Salim Tuama a six match ban. In addition, Hapoel will have to play three home games behind closed doors, and the club will be fined 40,000 shekels. Hapoel will also be forced to close gates 4 and 5 for the rest of the season. Hapoel has said they will appeal the decision of the court.

They do not have to close 4 or 5 Gates for the rest of the season. They have to close Gate 4 and 5. This are the stands, where the hardcore supporters like Ultras Hapoel can be found.
