Violence In Israeli Football

Recently a new  wave of violence in Israeli Football has begun to occur, just yesterday a player for Hapoel Haifa, Ali Khatib,  was hit in the face allegedly by two employees of Maccabi Petah Tikva and last week Beitar Jerusalem fans allegedly attacked Arab employees at the nearby Malha mall. This is not good news for Israeli football if they wish to attract more family oriented fans. Hopefully this is just a flare up and not a sign of things to come. I do think if continued fan violence occurs then it can be detrimental to the long term future of the game in Israel.
